Of doors to the imagination or perhaps another realm entirely in her \u201cWhat\u2019s on the Other Side\u201d series, of the empty places where magic is just waiting to fill the gaps in her stunning black and white seascapes, \u201cEmpty,\u201d and in \u201cDesert Retreat\u201d of pastel colored skies over rugged hills awash in late afternoon glow and soft sunset. The eye roves from one corner to the next, taking in the surreal and the real, the delicate colors, the kaleidoscopic technique. Speaking of a kaleidoscope, another Price collage uses the circular prismatic image pattern viewed through one as the frame work of a piece depicting four images of a woman\u2019s strikingly made-up eyes, four of a flowering cactus, a spiny plant, a sea shell, each set of four meeting its twin on the other half of the collage. Between them, linking each set of four, is a set of two twinned women standing in profile against a single colored circle. The colors, with much green, blue, purple and iridescent shine add to the feeling of entering a mythical realm, a portal through space and time into the heart of a female-centric beauty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-418\" src=\"http:\/\/diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1.png\" alt=\"price 2 take 1\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1.png 1000w, https:\/\/www.diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1-330x330.png 330w, https:\/\/www.diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1-96x96.png 96w, https:\/\/www.diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1-648x648.png 648w, https:\/\/www.diversionsla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/price-2-take-1-192x192.png 192w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Similarly, three images of a dark haired woman, back turned to the viewer, stare toward three images of a planet, suspended in a glowing sky above dark mountains and swirling pink clouds below them. It\u2019s a woman\u2019s world, wherever we are.
